Hey, Shit Talker!!

Well, we survived another busy weekend slingin' drinks and came up with a few ideas for this weeks blog. Because this is suppose to be the season of giving and general cheeriness we decided that this weeks blog should be about people's general attitudes towards each other. One thing we picked up on over this weekend was the amount of people talking (with no better way to say it) shit about each other. "Look at what that girl is wearing" "She looks like a slut" "That guy looks like a douchebag" Now I know we have all been there and said those things, and hey maybe it's valid sometimes. But for the most part YOU mainly look like the asshole. And further more it just makes you look really insecure. A group of attractive women sitting at the bar over the weekend maybe in their mid 40's were talking poorly about people in the bar and a coworker of ours referred to them "As the Real Bitches of Santa Monica." Would you like to be referred to as that at your favorite local bar? For example Shauna's fiancé was once on a date with a girl who was incredibly rude to an overweight man who accidently brushed up against her. He left that girl right then and there. Now we will throw Shauna under the bus a little and say that her fiancé actually used to think she was someone that she wasn't because of the way she was talking to her friend about other people in the bar. As he said to us attraction is multi-layered the looks will peak your interest but the personality will keep you there. Luckily he realized Shauna was not really that kind of girl and he put a ring on it anyway. Now this doesn't just apply to girls. Nothing makes a man look more insecure than by talking badly about other guys or picking fights with other dudes after a couple too many drinks. There are one or two guys I know that have a couple drinks and pick a fight with any guy that even looks at them a little off. This is not attractive to us ladies. We feel uncomfortable. We don't think you're tough. We think you're a drunken idiot. So this weekend as the many Holiday bar crawls are going around and we are all acting like it's our first weekend in college doing shots of fireball and drinking pitchers of cheap beer remember your manners. Maybe that girls Santa outfit is showing a little too much of her behind, remember it doesn't make you look better trying to make her look worse. Have fun and be safe!
